What is a Data Processing Agreement (DPA)? In all companies, data is generated and centrally processed in a digital format. Companies do not process all data themselves but rely on other service providers such as oneVcard. A DPA is therefore entered into between a company and other companies that process data on their behalf.

Do I need to sign a DPA with oneVcard? If you use oneVcard as a self-employed individual, freelancer, or sole proprietor and do not manage digital business cards for employees, a DPA is not required.

However, if you use oneVcard and store employee data there, you must enter into a DPA with oneVcard. Additionally, you should inform your employees about where and what data is being stored about them, regardless of oneVcard.
