Tips for oneVcard Physicals

Metal cards can only be read on the backside (the side with the QR code), as the NFC chip is integrated there.
Hold the Physical exactly over the reading area of the smartphone. For iPhones, hold it at the top edge on the back of the device, for Androids in the upper third to the middle on the back. For Samsung, it’s approximately in the center of the back.
You can also slowly move the Physical over the upper half of the back of the smartphone to help locate the reading area.
Keep the Physical still. The smartphone reads in cycles, not every millisecond, so wait a few seconds and try again if needed.
Hold the Physical directly against the device with no distance. If there are difficulties reading the card, it might be too far away from the smartphone.
Particularly for the latest iPhone generations, we recommend waking up the smartphone from standby before bringing the Physical to the reading area. This is related to energy-saving measures implemented by the manufacturer that reduce reading cycles during active use.
